Jena is an open source Java framework, originally from HP Labs, for building Semantic Web applications that provides an API for manipulation of RDF data, including RDF/XML, N3, N-Triples, RDFS, OWL, and SPARQL, as well as a rule-based inference engine, a SPARQL query engine, and persistent storage.

See Jena SourceForge web page.

See Wikipedia article on "Jena (framework)".
