What is JACK?

I'm Jack (Jack Krupansky), but you're probably looking for the JACK agent language and environment.

JACK is a Java-based product of The Agent Oriented Software Group (AOS).  As per their web site:

JACK is an environment for building, running and integrating commercial-grade multi-agent systems using a component-based approach. JACK is based upon the company's Research and Development work on software agent technologies.

The JACK Agent Language is a programming language that extends Java with agent-oriented concepts, such as:

The JACK Development Environment (JDE) has extensive capabilities, including the ability to trace execution using JACK Design Diagrams.
