Definition: Agent Interaction Machine

An agent interaction machine is an interaction machine that that supports the concept of agency as manifested in software agents.  The focus is on how agents interact.  An agent interaction machine recognizes an agent interaction language.  An agent interaction machine is not necessarily a physical machine, but could simply be a computer program running on a physical machine.
