Definition: Affective Computing

Affective computing is an approach to computing which endows a computing system with the abilities to influence or be influenced by human emotions, including the ability to recognize, model, understand, and react to human emotion as well as communicate emotion in forms that may be perceived as emotions by humans or other entities.
